The "My Patients" feature provides healthcare professionals with a dedicated workspace to view, search, and manage patient records. It offers a holistic overview of patient information, including medical history, prescriptions, Investigations, and vital signs.
Key features of the "My Patients" feature include:
Patient Record: Access comprehensive patient profiles containing personal details, medical history, and relevant clinical information.
Medical Review: Perform medical reviews, assess patient conditions, and update treatment plans within the platform.
Prescriptions: View and manage patient prescriptions, including medication details, dosage, and refill information.
Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature.
Progress Tracking: Track patient progress, view trends, and record notes to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
My Patients Workflow
To effectively utilize the "My Patients" feature, follow these steps:
Login: Open the SPICE application and sign in using your credentials. Ensure a stable internet connection for seamless access to patient records.
Navigate to "My Patients": Once logged in, locate the "My Patients" section in the app's navigation menu. Click on it to enter the "My Patients" workspace.
Search and Select Patient: Use the search functionality to find a specific patient by name, ID, or other identifying information. Select the desired patient from the search results to access their profile.
View Patient Information: In the patient profile, review the medical history, prescriptions, Investigations, Diagnosis and vital signs. Familiarize yourself with the relevant information to make informed decisions.
Perform Medical Review: Conduct a medical review by assessing the patient's condition, reviewing their medical history, and updating treatment plans accordingly. Document any observations or changes in the patient's condition.
Coordinate Care: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care. Share information, assign tasks, and communicate updates to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care delivery.
Manage Prescriptions: Access the patient's prescription records, review medication details, monitor refill status, and make any necessary adjustments. Ensure accurate and up-to-date medication management.
Monitor Vital Signs: Regularly record and monitor the patient's vital signs using the platform's integrated tools. Keep track of changes, identify trends, and make informed decisions based on the recorded data.
Track Patient Progress: Continuously evaluate the patient's progress, record notes, and update treatment plans as required. Monitor trends, review previous assessments, and make data-driven decisions to optimize patient care.
